I drove up to WK in the afternoon on the basis that the evening might be good for an alpha session. Unfortunately the forecast was downgraded during my 4 hour journey so when I arrived the wind was very light (10-12 knots) and somewhat patchy.

Some better wind finally started to show up at around 7pm so Ian and I went out for a bit of a sail amongst the dinghy racing. They sure did churn up the water!

We carried on sailing once the dinghys had finished... beyond sunset and well into darkness, finally coming off the water at about 8.45pm. It was kind of fun sailing in the twilight but once it was properly dark it was extremely difficult to see the numerous buoys!

Anyway, over 30 knots in the dark and it was fun trying for alphas in the dark. It was a shame the  wind wasn't that consistent as the water was nice and flat.
