brutal day today , when we first got there it was blowing between 40 to 50+ kts we heavy rain..

so we waited out for it to drop and went down to 30kts in the gusts on the beach , se we rigged up and i saw my mate infront of me get smashed by a gust so i knew this is goin to be really tough and it was ...

should have rigged the smaller sail a good lesson for next time that there was more out further , the wind was still sitting around 25 to 40kts but just brutal...

i didnt have a semetrical fin nor a port tack assy fin for the speed board , dammmmm so couldnt take out the speedboard other fins are getting too big for it !!!
But i was surprised how the 112 handled itself so well in those big gusts , but baring off was very hard with the nervous gust it would rip your sail out of your hand in a second and automatically put you off balance ....
Best run was done on the flatter side with small chop and the 2nd 40.01 kt run was done on the other side in knee+ hight chop that was wicked i was literally airbourne most of the time hovering over the chop , man i shit my pants but held on and the 112 proved itself to be so versatile in these conditions especially nervous bullets hitting ya every second , yeah the 6.3 was a bit too big ...

Anyway got a cracker run and managed to hit a 37.77 kt - 500m run that was for me the best result for the day very happy with that ..

Tried out the new CLSPW -28 fin and man it is worth every penny , i could fully commit without even hesitating for it to let go on the other side where it was major chop , but the only reason i had this fin in is to try it out for the first time and chunks of weed through out the whole bay area , it really dug out the bottom this strong wind ....

But the upwind preformance on this fin was amaizing it can really point high , that amazed me ....

rest of the runs i was hitting when the gust was fuller 38-39kts in marginal conditions but still gusty as hell as it started dropping off ..

good to have the team here and we had a good struggling time .lol....
