NOR Irish Speedsailing Championships -
The Irish Speedsailing Championships will be held at Dungarvan, Ireland.
Duration of contest
The Championship is a rollover event for the following dates: 17-19th October or 31st October- 2nd November or 14 – 16th November. The call for the event will be given on the GP3S website.
Calling a race weekend
Wednesday evening by 9pm, provisional call
Thursday evening by 9pm, official call
Ranking
The ranking will be based on the well know GP3S concept: 5x10 seconds.
· Results
· Log on to www.gps-speedsurfing.com and register for the event.
· Post your results on the event section within 48 hours.
· People not familiar with downloading of the data must report this at registration. Help will be available at the end of the day.
· The timekeeper can ask your track for verification.
· Make sure that the time and date on the GPS unit is set for the time zone of the event location so that the track log contains the correct times. This will be checked before the start.
· Ranking will appear on the event section automatically and becomes official only after verification by the timekeeper. Anyone found cheating will be banned from future events.
Safety
· Helmet and impact vest is strongly recommended.
· All instructions by the organization must be followed. Not following the safety rules will mean immediate disqualification.
· Day ranking
· Best average (5 best 10 second runs), and in case of a tie
· Best ten second run, up until the 5th run, and then
· Best 2 second run, up until the 5th 2 second run.
