| for anyone looking for the competition advertised in the lastest Wind and Kite mag in NZ ... we are running a local event running from 15th Nov to 31 Dec and then 1 Dec to mid Jan... the event should be up in the events section shortly .. sorry its a bit late ... but I will make sure that anyone who has logged times in NZ since the 15th Nov is included in the prize draw and also the rankings for each period ! Congrats to Peter John who leads the event at the moment with his recent 40.3 knot average... lets see how long he can hang onto the spot....or improve it! Free entry and everyone who enters sessions within NZ during the race period will be in the draw for spot prizes from NEIL PRYDE and NORTH SAILS, the event is backed by Wild Winds shop in Wellington and Wind and Kite Mag!
Anyone looking for additional information can email me at chritor@hotmail.com Chris | | | |

| Thanks to everyone from GPS-SPEEDSURFING for the help getting this event up and running! We are hoping to have all sessions recorded in NZ since the 15th Nov added to the event so they will show in rankings Chris | | | |
| Any Kiwi sailor wanting to be in the event needs to 'suscribe' for results to be entered. Go to .... Event / Read more (at bottom of NZ event page) / suscribe ( tab on left menus) everyone who enters and has had sessions logged in from the 15th Nov on will have them included in the rankings Thanks All! | Today will be the first time in new zealand we have had a national with speeds in the forties to determine places | | | |
| And the frustrating thing was that as we packed up and left at 12 midday the wind was building to as steady 35 plus knots.. but the sand bar was going under for the day!! Chris | | | |
| My self and Tent Cornwell still don't come up on the rankings for the NZ GPS speed event?

| There have been a few hitches ... hoping to sort them out for the next session... but I will do a manual check through and make sure all sessions are included and go into the draw!... and will put up a final ranking based on average speed at the end of the month! Thanks to all those new sailors who have registered.. and look forward to more for the second session! Chris | | | |
