Several new features or enhancements :
1) When selecting a time
section in the graphs (with a "drag & drop" in speed graphs or so),
not only the average value is computed, but also the corresponding
distance. Moreover, if doppler data is available, distance is
calculated on it (more accurate).
Here is an example with a time
selection (in green color) lasts 03'54'' where the average speed 18.74,
and the corresponding distance 1,070 km (with D for Doppler based
distance calculation) :
2)
New graph with angle to the wind through time. In combination with time
zone selection, you can determine your average angle to wind on any
part of your track, especially when going upwind or downwind.
For
instance, in the following example, the portion of time considered
(with drag & drop) is 3'54'', with an ange average of 71.21° (0
means face to wind, 90° means square, so 71 is moderate upwind value),
through a distance of 1.625 km (and at an average speed of 13.43 knots).
To get this graph, go to one of the windows of GpsarPro, and in "change view", choose angleGraph :
3)
In regatta module, step details section, the distance are now computed
based on doppler data if available. It's more accurate than positionnal
computation.
4) In speed statistics, the chosen unit is taken
into account when computing the average values over a given speed. In
previous versions, it was always knots, but now, you can for instance
choose km/h, as follows :
5)
For devices providing Heart Rate data (such as GPX from Keymaze /
Geonaute 700 devices), GpsarPro 4.10 provides a HR through time graph,
and so it is possible to average values on a time selection, and
consider it besides other graphs (speed, etc.).
