Report from Tsimari, Greece - 31/01/2010
2/2/2010 1:17:54 PMAlexander Doukas

The tsimari spot is located in western Greece, and was discovered by our friend Dinos Thomopoulos. While Europe was hit by very cold weather, we had the luck to have many occasions with south and westely winds, that's why the Greek flag has appeared so often since the beginning of the yaer in the latest sessions column!

Having missed the good days in the beginning of the year, at last what a great day! Windguru forecast was exact on timing (only the strength of the wind wasn't as strong as expected...and I was missing my 7.0), at last a speed session after many months! Great place , sunny (9-11oC) and many people on the water! Many more pictures on http://bit.ly/cayFSP

Nice going!

Have you guys thought about putting together a Greek team in the GPS Team Challenge?

We know you have some great conditions and quick sailors and....correct me if I'm wrong, the Challenge's greatest star happens to be the reigning Greek Speed Champ; none other than Mr Christos Lockwoodopoulos!! ;)

You'll have heaps of fun and love the banter!
