Looking at forecast is it a good call? Well If it stays to forecast I'm out and expect others to show. Howie the wind master give us the heads up!

Hey Mark, hmm from a GFS perspective ie. Xcweather wind data .. yes looking good from Saturday noon through all of Sunday. Now the tricky bit ... The UKMO forecast .. always like to through the odd caveat in and more often than not correct with it. Saturday pm nice clean SSW flow circa F5-F7 yes   now Sunday:

The surface low , pretty weak affair running up the channel Sunday am, just off Devon at noon may cause problems for PH SUnday avro... the current UKMO forecast for PH Sunday thus takes this into account with a galeforce Sw flow sat night into sunday easing off to F4 WSW for day break backing SSW then South by noon F4-F6 and not kicking back in proper F6-F8 until mid arvo SSW, peaking after dusk, plenty of time to see how this develops for Sunday.

Cheers howie, tides are tip top all weekend really so keep us updated not sailed for a while need to go mental!

Hi Mark

Tides are 0.7 m low tomorrow. Is this ok? I'm considering coming up for a sail. I Fancy a Slalom board cruise at Portland

0.7 is sailable all day long! 0.5 gets a bit close on bigger fins. Will be fine tomorrow Adam

Looking good mid morning onwards, tides will not be an issue 0.7 at lowest but may a tad deeper with a storm surge. Realistically it will be a blessing being in your depth all day, so if any kit failure no issues just may have a long walk?
Late notice been working. RSM is go get on it, water wind sorted by midday!
