If you get this error message with GPSResults V6.139 (or earlier) please update to V6.140 from www.gps-speed.com. The calling convention of GE has slightly changed so I had to adapt to that. A workaround would be to open the KML-file (GPSResultsExport.kml) saved by GPSResults in GE manually (just doubleclick the filename under C:\GPSResultsV6 or use Open File in GE).

thank you for this. Will you be making any improvements to the OsX version? I find the user interface (and particularly the GE overlay) very disappointing compared to the PC version :-(

Latest version are V6.142 for PC and V5.39 for Mac (download from www.gps-speed.com) , both versions can process data from GW52 (5Hz) and Thingsee units.

For Google Earth overlay the PC-version must not be installed under C:\Program Files but under C:\GPSResultsV6 (default). The Mac-version should be installed in the user-folder and not in the main applications folder. Reason is the limited write-access to the system folders on both platforms, so the KML-file for GE cannot be written there.
