new C3 fin helped to pick up a few PB's
good day with the usual crowd

Nice days sailing, gear felt great used the Loft Blade 5.6 & Carbonart SP40 for a few runs but got all the numbers on the SP50 love this board 3rd time i used it and i'm wrapped with it's all round performance,it was abit of a lucky draw to get onto a broad enough gust but it was square for most of the day.

Good day on the water with a few of the demons including Choco and Hamma from Barmera.  Early start arriving at 6am with Sam - no wind.  Had a wake up beer and some port to stay warm.  Rigged up the slalom and speed kit hoping for some wind.  The wind picked up from the nw - not ideal - 300m squirts - took the fanatic falcon 89, 5.8m koncept and c3 32 venom for a spin.  Had some runs back and forth until Sam hit some coral.

Waited a short time for the wind to swing and decided to take out the isonic 50.  Too broad too get on the course so had a walk back.  Later picked up and swung w - sw.  Not dead square but enough that you had to squirt into the chop.  Had some great runs along the bank and managed 4 runs over 40 and 1 over 41 - damn doppler.  Had a 41.8 on the garmin but seemed to be a spike.  Alot of happy faces on the shore after a great day.

Would have been better on a smaller sail in the conditions and come to think of it smaller board, smaller fin..............!!!!.

Some new PB's for the others. Great session.

Nice day down at goolwa with lots of people showing 40 on the dial.

Waited on the bank when I arrived for a nice gust and headed out on the CA44 with my new Caspar 27 and the RSR6.7.  42.55 on the screen and couldn't better it.  The Caspar felt great, like a slippery and sophisticated SL7!

Wind picked up but and it was a bit hit and miss on the 5.0

CA44 - Caspar 27 - RSR6.7 then CA44 - Caspar 25 - RSR5.0

My 6.2 RSS should be here in a few weeks and will be great on days like these.

Congrats to all, especially those with PB's!

Track Edit: Checked the track to put it into GE and noticed a better 10s run, there was a 40.83 which wasn't picked up before(?), I thought the 10s should have been better in relation to the peak and the fact that it was my first run which hugged the length of the bank.
