Wow how cold was it. the water is icey ice ice.

nice breeze to start with the a squal came through, then it dropped. The combo of no wind and cold water gave me a nice dose of the hots. fecking agony.

Trying to trim the board with footstrap positions and im not happy yet. Bottom line is im trying to get it riding like the isonic. This maybe a thankless task.

Bit less wind than yesterday.

Some nice slalom sailing with Adam and Simon. Tried  a few different settings including my old 9.0 Spitfire, which had plenty of power in the back hand!

Great to get a sail in, and despite the water being exceptionally cold, air temps were ok. My arms were blown after about 5 mins but once I'd got used to handing a rig again all was ok.

A good angle today but nowhere near enough wind and was even off the plane at times. Unfortunately mw new Debo fin did not fit the fin box so will require some work before I can use it.

Tried a 2012 Gaastra Vapor 8.6 with a nice X9 boom, what a rig, super light , pins the nose down and makes sailing a million times easier and faster than my wobbly rig!

Good to have both Simon and Jonny on the water. Had a couple of fun downwinders trying to keep up with them!
