Some good wind today and didn't get on the water till after 7pm but the wind angle was typical for this place making the conditions really hard. No wind at the North end of the lake and quite strong but dangerously choppy at the southern end. Consequently really hard work to even get a 30av. Good to be on the water though and to see Jonny and Gav.

First powered up session (in the gusts) on the iSonic 90.
Board felt solid as a rock anywhere I pointed it and just glided over the top of the chop.

Decided against a trip to St John's and stayed local. Arrived at the lake in thick fog and the waited over an hour for it to clear. Rigged the freeride gear thinking my window of opportunity would be small. When it did clear the wind increased and we had a great time. Maybe should have rigged some slalom gear as JW and Adam were motoring but I was having so much fun on the Exocet X Cross freemove board!! 

Very nice blast around the lake, loads of people out enjoying the sunshine. Well done to everyone involved in the W4CR.
