West before south, and tight. Cold, very very gusty and hard work. rigged a 9.5m first, wind picked up, rigged an 8.6m, wind picked up again, rigged a 7m wind dropped. The wind keep't changing strength all afternoon and I seemed to spend most of my time swapping boards, fins and sails so did not get much milage done, but got plenty of rigging done. First time out on the 7m F2012, its very different from my old F2010 and I need to tune it better, sailed it on Ant Bakers settings and I was not right for me, 1cm extra downhaul and less batten tension from batten 4# upwards and it will feel nice. I noticed that cold hands and 7mm boots make it difficult to sail, had to open my footstraps loads. Only me and Neil H out with gps's and a handfull of freeriders. Turned out better than I thought, was fun.

3 boards and 2 sails, always on the the wrong combination when the wind was at it's best. In the time it took to change the board/sail the wind would change again. Well done Mark H
