My first visit to Wells and first outing for the X-Fire V7 (80L / 53cm).

The wind didn't come through as forecast but we had 15 minutes nicely powered up. During those 15 minutes, I only managed to get 3 runs in because of the long walks back upwind.

Summary: Nice to see the spot after all these years. I can see it has potential on its day and it was great try my new board in the sun. It was fairly warm initially but it got pretty chilly when the wind was fading away.

oh dear?? strange one, tide seemed to be out and appeared early, wind should of been 22-30kts and checking recorded windspeeds xc and weybourne weather station recorded 20-30kts?? well i must of been somewhere else as i didnt see any of that, all bar 20mins or so of wind which i got 2 runs in, i was cursing myself as i wanted to try the 6.6 today and went against my instincts but to be fair it still wouldnt of been enough but hey nice to be on the 44 again

Hi guys, wish I could have made it but I was away. It can be frustrating there but still a good spot for my local, not the easiest walk backup the channel. It will deliver one day. I just hope I'm there!

Not a great day, wind never turned up. Great to catch up with a few of the boys
