| Had a good skunking today and only posting for my records. Rigged a 9.5m as the winds were around 10/12k NW and the lake was very very busy. Sailed for just 30 minutes and the wind picked up to 25k, came ashore and derigged and started to rig the 7.8m and the wind dropped back to 10/12k, bugger, maybe I derigged the 9.5m to soon. Waited around for an hour or two, eventually gave up and got out of my wetsuit. Started to pull out of the carpark, wind picked up to 20k and swung west. Thought f##k it and went home. Skunked!!!! |  |
