First time on a speed board so it was a little too optimistic as I needed to learn all the basics on how to get it going, mast track position, foot straps, fin and so on. The chop was pretty horrendous but all in all a good learning session while the wind lasted, and I got over my initial fear and am really surprised how easy and safe it felt! Now I am pretty sure that I could have easily handled the 6.9…… next time I know. I think with a couple more sessions 36-40knots will be common for this spot. Wind was 20+knots for a while. I think I broke the record for the longest water start in Cypriot history!! LOL
