Quite a gamble today considering all the factors that could or could not cooperate, but in the end we had a nice sail for an hour. The wind shift from S to W only happened as we were approaching the waterline when a big squall flew past that turned the wind 90 degrees in a couple of minutes. Great!
Speeds could've been a bit higher today since the conditions were good, albeit only for a short time. But somehow I couldn't close the gap enough today, seems my stance was off for some reason. Still, a good session, considering the uncertainty of the situation this morning. We even had a glimpse of sun as we were packing up.
Anne, congrats on your PB, very nice!
