yesterday was the first day on Franqui again after May 2014 and what a day.

Many wind and the rigged the 5.6 sinds last year on Franqui... so far so good. I have surfed yesterday a little bit. Most important was to check the settings with my new board (thanks Ron and Martin for your support) and my new boom.

Today was much better. The jump on my board with this direction is much better since my practice on Herkingen this year.

My new board is a party animal...

It's easy to accelerate, and to ride it over the chop! At the end of the afternoon waves were coming from 2 directions and I made a superb run all over it, without any doubts about controll, that makes my life a bit easier..

I have not that much experience to surf with small sails like 5.6. But with this board I opened a new chapter of windsurfing in my life and I am very happy with that. Last year wasn't easy at all with 5.6 on a Mistral 47 if you miss the experience with small stuff.

After all, a very nice day with my buddies from Holland (Gerwin), Belgium (Joeri and Patrick) and hopefully tomorrow more fun and speed!
