What a day, smashed my PB and broke 40 knots for first time. Loads of people sailing today inc. Dave White and Martin van Meurs who were hauling. Wind was up and down but in some of the squalls it was easily more than 40 knots maybe 45. Sailed the west run in morning then wind swung and so moved down to the east run. I was faster on the west run but everybody else seemed to do better on the east, not sure why I couldn't. Dave said he thought I was sailing to far from the bank I'll have to try and get closer to it next time. My best day speed sailing so far!
