| Remarks | Whoehaaaaaa! Oosterland/The Brace deliverded today. Marcel and I knew it all the time. First of all congrats to all the guys that sailed PR's today. It was a very nice and windy day with nice sunny weather on top of that (just about Saturday the 9th Boogie). Windangle was a bit less ideal. You actually had to bear off to go really broad. Martin and I never did this however. all the runs were sailed following the sandbar. I decided to gamble a bit and go for the AC-1 5.4 this time. Marcel sailed it fast already in less wind so I really wanted to feel it for myself. It is a very good basis for an even faster sail. It felt really neutral and easy to handle in the gusts and chop upwind. Downwind it showed great potential as well. I think I broke all my PR's. Thanks to Peter at Point-7! My goals this season were 85 km/h top speed and crack 80 average....see for yourselves. Very happy, just a shame I did not manage to get 5 runs over 80 in. But we have a great spot around the corner to battle with the Sandy point crew! I had to tune a bit differently as the sail clearly has less downforce than the 5.8 does in the lighter gusts. Took a bit of trying and then it was ok. Just the Strike 22 felt a bit too big with the 5.4. So, decided to change to the Strike 20 and it was absolutely flying from the first second on. I love it!!! It is great on a tighter course, but it also flies downwind. I'm so super happy with the C3 fins. Great job Boogie.
