It was my first time on the Manta 54 and the first time ever on such a small board.
Started with the 6.8 and did 62km/h topspeed on the very first run. After talking to Hans I decided to change to the 5.6. All in all that was a very good decision. Thanks a lot! The wind stands and on my way back I noticed, I cannot go upwind with 28cm and 6.8 but changing was not possible, at the moment the next bigger one is 34 :(
Okay I changed and went out again. With the time it feels more and more comfortable to surf on this board.
I pulverised my PR on a new board fantasic. Okay, compared to the other guys I weren't really fast but I think I will love this board surfing more times. In my opinion I can do 70km/h topspeed easy on it and maybe a 37knots average. The future will show it.
Conclusion: Nearly a perfect day. Always nice to surf with the dutch speedies :)
