An absolutely stupid session for 2 reasons. 1. the tide was too low. 2. I was sick - very sick. But it looked so good and it might not be that good again till spring. So against better judgment I went. It took me all afternoon to do 5 runs! I was so weak that when I dropped the sail in the water I could not get it back out to waterstart. It was too shallow to do the normal course and I tried to run the top part. lots of reef rash and I dinged my new Vector fin. I actually used a 23cm Vector Axis B, but for some reason i could not add it, so I just put the Vector 26 in the results. I just could not handle it today. I should have been posting 38s on every run. It was a pretty poor effort, but at least I did not get hurt. I put the helmet on today which was the smartest thing I did all day. Should have upped my average if I was well. Oh well!
