This is a session about what could have been! The tide was perfect, the swell was perfect, the inside was flat! The wind however was not perfect.
It looked windy at 2pmbut when I got there at 3pm it was a bit Swiss cheese. Wind on the outside was blowing 20+ knots but not filling in to the inside with any consistency.

I got the perfect line on water as flat as can be expected on Maui and cruised down the course peaking at 36.7 knots. Oh for another 5 knots of wind on that run! I think I could have added another 3 knots. Still very impressive performance from the 2010 GPS 6.6 and shows it has a lot more to offer.

Typically, ever since I sent my 7.3 to Martyn for Weymouth it has been THE sail I needed.
