YESSSSSSSSS, one word, amazing session! I had only  2 hours for surfing today, so I had to make the right choice on the beach….I WASTED. The wind was not very strong when I arrived at 10 am at Horst. So I decided to rig my 6,2…after 10 minutes on the water the wind increased to at least 30 knots avg and it was definitely more than yesterday. Yesterday I sailed with a 5,5 and this was perfect. So you could say I was a little bit powered up…. But I’m very happy with my results a PR!!!!

Max: 85,2 -> 85,43

AVG: 78,75 -> 79,1

10sec: 80.09 -> 80,17

100m: 82,6 -> 83

Besides a PR I’m very happy with my gear, it is running like a rocket: controllable, accelerating in every gust and FAST. The sail is very stable and putting every gust into acceleration and the board is running loose but controllable.  Wow 2011 has a good start with FAST gear!!!!

Never thought this would be possible on Horst and also especially not in the winter when Horst is much more choppy than in the summer. I wonder what my speeds would be with a 5.5,  which was much more efficient.

Wondering how the others are doing, the wind is still howling round my house. Bram had no luck today, more to come man, keep up!
