Well it was a case of Drive 700 miles and spend over £200 to go over 40 knots on the speedboard or Drive 5 minutes and go 35 knots on the slalom board! I opted for the latter. Good decision in the end as had a fun sail with Jim and his Dad in Sunny conditions, The wind at the start of the day was over 50 knots and impossible to sail in but by the afternoon the wind had died, swung and picked up again. Direction was WNW which gives the most unbelieveable gusts, lulls and chop here so a good workout. Not too cold either
