Heel vroeg op pad om te gaan surfen! Pfff. Maar wij werden beloond met een hele vette sessie. Wel de verkeerde keuze gemaakt door de 5,2 te pakken. Daarmee kon ik de run niet goed opbouwen omdat het erg vlagerig was.  Ik mag niet klagen want 77 avg is voor mij een prima snelheid.

Sick session!!! At the spot at 05.15 in the dark with 5 other mentally ill guys. The upwind journey to the starting point was already a really heavy one. Doing the runs was also no walk in the park, super gusty wind and a gap in the wall were chop comes in. Got launched a couple of times but no crashes fortunately. I was doing a lot of 79 runs, every run a little faster then the one before. Then finaly I got a really nice gust from start to end, which felt so awesome and resulted in my fastest run, max, 100m and 250m. So happy with the 2sec 88:)

A little later Twan also had a proper gust and made a sick run, kudos!!

Great company, challenging conditions and everyone completely out of energy, even Gerlof:p 

Beetje tegenvallende dag ondanks eindelijk eens 80 gem. Maar ik had er simpelweg meer van verwacht. Daarnaast niet erg fit door wat korte nachtjes. Maar het meest ging ik kapot door het upwind varen, geen idee waarom maar ik had mn handen vol aan het zeil. Daardoor bliezen mn armen flink op en was ik zomaar door de energie heen. Wel wat meer downhaul geprobeerd, dat verlichtte iets maar niet genoeg. Toch nog maar eens goed naar de trim kijken.

Had one nice gust which was like the predicted wind, rest was on / off, to less for 5.2... But in the end the right call to sail here at 6 in the morning!

Sessie 53: Francis bracht de wind en ook de spot was prima..! Helaas leverde het setje niet de verwachte trim. Toch een aardige 85 km/u max 2 sec.. ! Op naar de volgende sessie! :-)
