CHOOOOPPPPIIIEEEEEEE!!

Arrived at 11:30 AM and waited for Tjitse who had my new 2015 Speed Blade 5.6 with him. Took it out of the box, rigged, derigged, added spacers and went on the water with what looked like a good setting for a start, It was very gusty with very strong gusts so a good opportunity to test the sail right away. On the water it was clear that it was way more choppy than what it looked like from the shore. Decided to stick to the 44 board though, as afterall the sail is basiscally for that boardsize. After a run or 2 I swapped fins and put in the latest rebased fin I have which needed testing afterall. The board was always at a very nice angle and nice lift. The sail is amazing. I so much loved the 2013 5,6 Racing Blade, but this definitely is something else! I think I already found a very good trim. It is very light in the hands an super stable. very happy with this replacement. 

This must be about the choppiest Horst session I had so far.
