Third day of really nice sailing. Bit sore after yesterdays big effort, so we took it easy and there wasn't much wind untill mid afternoon anyhow.

Launched at the 'Gap', just upwind of the 5-mile. It is amazing how crystal clear the water is there after how it was last time I was there, The weed growth is phenonemal, considering the whole area was blowing dust last summer. The water doesn't taste much different to normal sea water.

The area up the top of the lake is almost as flat as the middle of the lake in the really good years. It was great fun sailing, blasting across on a beam reach at close to 30 knots and gybing in amost flat water at each end. 

We were a bit underpowered at first but gradually the breeze built and got into the high teens which was just super pleasant. pretty much fully lit reaching.

The best fun sailing I have had for ages. I probably would had a nice hour but I ran around a few times and had to walk back out. No rocks though!
