Wonderful day at The Brace (finally!). 11 guys on the water having fun. Some sailed PR's so that's nice as well. The wind was never super strong but in the beginning the tide was not yet low enough so chop was severe and difficult to get on the course. That was the main problem. But this was still the fastest period. After that it died a bit and became a bit too broad. Wind did pick up again but direction remained a bit too broad unfortunately. 5.6 was good in the gusts but in the end 6.3's were the faster choice today. A few more knots and it would have turned to the 5.6's advantage I'm sure, certainly with the course being as broad as it was compared to windspeed. The walk back was killing....what's new, haha.
