Takapuna open ocean session. Been a while since i have sailed this location. Surfers out down the Southern end with sneaky 2.5 ft waves. Happy with 50 km hr average and 55 km hr peak doing forward (Hookipa) loops into the Boat ramp onto volcanic rock  just after Low tide. Super fun running down the face to the  inside in the shore break and mixing with wave gurus and the odd kiter. Not your ideal speed venue but just had to pick you line. Would not have used any other board than the Falcon 80!
