Very gusty WNW shifty wind testing new fin, initially on Isonic 87, then much of the session on Falcon 80.Max peak with 80. Fin is much better for board control down wind in chop but lacks drive and speed on the flat compared to the Hotrod. Doesn't point as well as HR in sub Par conditions. Hard to get any true feedback as not windy enough and NW, West and WNW. Heaps easier on the ankles and body in chop than HR and board easier to stay trimmed. Must be the thinner chord and increased rake.
