Arrived at 7.10am not been here for ages, parked in normal place and put mat out and found out gates have been wire fenced over so moved car to the now only one entrance set of gates, thanks to someone saying i would not need my speed 44 board and sail i did not bring it, well big mistake as was enought wind first thing dam it, note to self, stop listerning to certain poeple (n)Took ages to get on water because 1)  got out 76lt isonic and rigged 5.7m 3 cam RRD Firewing sail and deliberated over which fin to use, opted for 24cm Blackproject Dragon fin ,2) well its way to tight and so out with the sand paper for 20 mins as new sandpaper put in box disapeared so left with old worn out small scrap, 3) strap on hemet was twisted, took 15 mins to untwist, 4) nat invite freind from my local club to west kirby and he arrived and nat on water so then spent next half 40 mins explaining where changing rooms, Morrisons and so on and so on are, finally on water and had to take a a while to see if fin is solid and not hopfully spin out, works nicely in board but not eneough lift for speed soon as wind dropped but have to try these things, should have chaged to 29cm fin as wind gradually decreased, fin was stuck in when finished and took so getting out, more sanding at home, well nice to get up here as been no wind for ages, hoped on 124 Tabou Rocket with same sail and worked nicly in afternoon but wind was patchy and needed 6.5-7m sail, decided to go home, overall a fun day and also another learning day.
