Well...Not so good effort, especially when keeping in mind that i had more or less an equal max-speed the first time i was here, but then sailing the big board with 7.6...It really felt like i was sailing with the handbrake applied...Most of the time a had some weed around the fin, i guess the reason was that the fin is a little too deep for this spot (very shallow water), everytime i started the fin was draged quite hard agains the sea-bed, and of course picking up weed...Water was really flat, small rolling chop only, so im disappointed that i sailed this bad..Yesterday at different spot conditions were much-much worse than this but i was still quite a lot faster...I will need to buy a smaller weedfin for this spot, or ride the bigger board so the fin will not catch weed...Overall it was a good sunny day, at first i thought my 6.2 would be way too big, this proved to be wrong, perhaps the right choice would have been 6.8 and my custom board...I hope there will be one more windy day before it gets really cold...
