second day in a row, this time in Hood River. Slalom gear, getting more sailing with pure slalom setup. The Gsport SR-10 36 was smooth and quick. Weather was occasional light wind squalls, slalom gear gives the best rides. Since there was not much wind in lulls, a fast 107 to 111 slalom board and bigger sail would be faster, especially all around through the session and more fun , less slog.. Smaller board or at least a smaller fin may have gotten more peaks, but averages would be more difficult, especially because acceleration or sustainability through holes and downdrafts/windshifts.These are also frontal winds in the Gorge now though spring when there are west winds, so tactics and trim are at premium along with equipment.
