Early morning session, arrived at 7.00am and Lake looked flat with not much wind. There was a Triathalon club training in the lake but they were just finishing. As there was not much wind set up the Tushingham 8.5 sail, which was great for about an hour, when the wind increased and became too much, tide was on way in and lake got quite choppy too, so decided to change down a sail, New sail track osted as seperate session. Well worth the early start though as by mid day the lake was like the M25.

Second session on water with smaller sail, wind shifted a bit to NW, and I struggled to get any runs for a while down the wall. Wanted to try out my new Isonic96 but as the lake was now full of windsurfers flying past, decided might not be the best idea having never sailed a board this small before. Had a few runs that felt good, but really just enjoyed the day catching up with everyone, Bonus,,even the sun came out!

first bit of westerly wind in ages , great fun session in the sun with good friends
