A nice sunny day and it was great to be back on a speed board. This was the first outing for my new 5.2 Evo 8 and it felt great. :)

The wind came through as the course started to disappear but it was a nice session in the sun with fellow speedies.

nice to get out again

Been a while since we did any speed, great to see so many out at the Ray. I had a new F-hot Assy fin to test. wanted to check it against a normal 24 and it seems to give more lift for the same size, so much so I felt over finned on the Firwind 6.3 will now get a set so I can pick the right size for the conditions. The good new is I think I'll be able to drop in size by 2cm.

A nice sunny day and it was great to be back on a speed board after a 6 month break. This was the first outing for my new 5.2 Evo 8 and it felt great. :)

It was an early start and the wind came through as the course started to disappear but it was a nice session in the sun with fellow speedies.

We went out again in the evening when the Ray re-appeared and I tried for a few alphas (tricky on a 41cm wide board) but my best ones were slightly too wide to count... 52m-55m.

Double session at Southend today, iSonic W44 and Reflex 6 - 5.1 sail, light winds to start with though it did pick up as the day progressed, unfortunately missed some nice wind when the tide was in after the first session, 2nd session was good with my best times of the day, super impressed with the F-Hot Speed 20 fin on its first real test, great smooth control on this fin and amazing performance coming back up the course as well. Kept getting lifted in the gusts on the course so no great speeds todays though but still had a great day with the rest of the guys - Scotty

Nice to get back on the speed board, although i was pretty slow today for some reason!!!

A fairly challenging session at the Ray, Not the best angle and the wind didn't fill in as forecast as well as being inconsistent.

It was however my first time out on the Moo Custom and despite the conditions, rewarded me with a PB peak.

Im pleased with that and looking forward to the next trip.
