The playground is open! :) Very great start of the speedsurfing year in Makkum with Twan.

I started out with my R7 6.2, which is super easy to sail! It's a nice step up from my old sails. The wind slowly increased, and so did my speeds. We already knew that the wind would pick up even more, so we went back to shore to rig our 5.6's.

Suddenly there was so much wind! The chop increased quite dramatically, so we decided to try some Biefstuk. The angle wasn't optimal and the course was super choppy as well, so I did not increase my speeds with the 5.6. Twan however was flying! Great job!
