Today was always going to be a gamble going to the Ray at Southend for low tide at 7am ! Storm Brian wasnt going to hit till later once the Ray was covered. not much wind when we turned up at !st light , so i rigged the 90Ltr with 6.3 Firewing, didnt get planning for 45mins was walking back to the van and gave up (sacked it off) ! got a whistle from the boys turned round noticing white caps throughout the creek , so turned back and got half a hour of sweet blasting in before i had to call it a day.
