looked at the forecast and thought should be perfect training weather, before work.

It was low tide and wind coming from the North East giving a fairly flat water state.

Rigged large for the wind so i could get up wind fast, as i fancied going up to the Dip from the manor end of the Beach! would say its two miles upwind from my start.

lots of crab/lobster pots off the beach on route, noticed x4 long distance swimmers a fair way out, so eyes peeled also x4 canoes.

pointed upwind fantastic on the new 2018 gear 7.8 firewing 114 xfire and 38 fhot fin. gybes today were spot on think i fluffed only one all day, managed a sweet laydown gybe out front of the boozer 'the Alex' sure i could here the pub all whooping lol !!!

on arival at the Dip end of the beach lots of the locals were out on there kit doing there thang, loving the bright sunny windy day, as soon as i got there to the dip i had to turn round and head back to home 'the Manor' as work was calling :(.

Flying back down wind was simply stunning kit was great and i was loving it.

getting back to the Manor Al and Martin were blasting about , i had 10 mins with them on the water and came in for the end of my BEST ever sail here at Felixstowe.

no pics of the day just great memories.
