Sessie 31: Redelijk fit de laatste dag gestart, en ook nog mooie wind! Vanavond Taka taka mam met Eric, Cornelia, Oane, Brenda, Dirk Jan, Luca en ondergetekende...!  Karpathos rules!

Lekker gevaren maar misschien een beetje te laat gestart. Helaas maar 1 goede run die niet eens snel aanvoelde en er ook niet snel uitzag (volgens Dirk-Jan). Druk op de baan, slalommen tussen freestylers en afnemende wind maar balans was beter en Finish 30 vin voelde goed. Jammer genoeg vanavond alweer afscheid nemen van Dirk-Jan en Johan  :( .  

Strong winds today, Meltemi is showing it's teeth. Couldn't make the best of it still, which is weird since I'm usually 'ok' in these type of winds. Had one big crash, but all was ok except for a snapped harness line and a bent hook.

Unfortunately it was the last day for Dirk-Jan, Johan and Luca, so we had a great farewell dinner in Arkassa in the evening. Luckily there are still some more speedies on the island to enjoy the course with over the next few days!

 Last day at Karpathos, there was more wind then in the forecast, so i thought, it wil be good to take my smalest sail the 5,8 CHS PSL.  with the  new Fanatic Falcon Speed 52.5 the wind was not anough to do good speeds with this set. (maybe i was to late) but  than i thougt i only change my board, to the good old Fanatic Falcon 89.  And with only 5,8 i was  abel to do runs  from about 70 km/h  very good, In one gust   i hade a very good run , with a perfect top speed, over 80,6 in one sec. Wowwww !!!!!!  difficult to brake at the end . ha ha .    iI hade a very good time this year at Karpathos with all my friends, Thanks all.
