Cold session at Makkum today! Nice to do some runs between the waves and cruis around! Decided not to go to shithole this morning as probably a lot of people would show up there, cannot understand the people who are not local there and not knowing the spot taking a risk or  to drive half the country at this moment in time.... Good old Makkum luckily had enough space :)

Stevig dagje op Makkum Beach... 7.0 was echt aan de forse kant, zeker in eerste deel van de sessie, maar na wat bijtrimmen was het te toen. De speed button kon ik vandaag niet echt vinden, dus maar lekker voor distance gegaan met mijn zwagertje :) Was weer mooi, behoorlijk aantal surfers op het water, maar zowel op strand en parkeerterrein geen enkel probleem met de afstand 1.5 meter, klasse zo !

Bit chilly, but nevertheless a fun afternoon at Makkum. Going full throttle between and over the chop/waves with this Northerly direction is always challenging but fun. Was a bit late for the bigger gusts I heard from the other locals, but impressive speeds by Twan and also by Jens, who already has become big friends with the new Duotone Warp 6,2 :-)

Heerlijke middag op Makkum met Stijn, Seeger en anderel locals, was weer gezellig (uiteraard opgepaste afstand). Goed om te zien dat iedereen nog gezond is :).

Vandaag voor het eerst met de 6.2 warp 20.20, het is echt een geniaal zeil! 68 max speed display is niet gek midden op het Ijsselmeer, al zeg ik het zelf ;). Kan niet wachten op serieuze speed omstandigheden met dit zeil. Op naar meer van dit soort sessies.

6.2 met 107 es proberen. verrassend leuk en goed te doen. was laat op t water voordeel het was lekker weer. nadeel de wind was afgenomen. heerlijk wat heen en weer gevaren. topdagje
