Very strange: It felt really really fast. I was blasting alongside Frank Ervin and he was marginally faster on a 139 slalom board (he's lighter and had 8.6 on). Water was almost flat and there were a few good gusts. I improved only my 500m and aAverga speed because of long consistent runs. However, my top speeds (max, 2sec, 10sec, 100/250m etc) were way below my records. But it felt faster! Should I have put my 8.6 on and allow for overpowered sailing? Is my fin too 'soft'?
