It was a big gamble but this worked out!! We took some flag's with us to mark the banks and all but one of us kept downwind of this... It could have been fucking amazing if if if but never the less it is the one but fastest Kuitje session I ever sailed..

I didn't have any strenght when I started. I thought, oooh this is because of the yesterdays session, within 30 min it should be OK. But in the end I only felt worse, when I tried to go upwind or really fast my arm/legmuscles struggled to hold the rig. Anyhow conclusion was quite easy in the end (when I took off my wetsuit): My winterwetsuit is now to small, soo I am a bit sad this ruined my session/ And I have to buy a new good winterwetsuit... But I am happy I chose to sail today. It doesn;t happen often to sail with Dutch best windsurfers. Great to see them go really fast! And I hope your ribs will be fine Peter V. Next time I will be competitive!!!

First went to the raging ball, but the banks are wrong around the back , not like last autumn. There was some nice waves though. Then went and met up with Peter, Benny and Eric by the marine base also in Den Helder. I rigged the 5,5 again which was a little bit small at first, but the wind picked up for some solid runs later, like predicted. Peter and Benny where flying and Eric was having fun too, also on the smaller sail. My 24.5 vin turned into a 23.5 when I hit a bank going too close to the beach, so that will be OK if the wind gets properly strong next time, when I'm recovered from the crash going 40 knots - 0 knots in 2 seconds hitting the boom. Think it would've been better for my ribs if the boom had broken...

Pretty amazing guys! This put's het Kuitje in another league: are the days over to walk 1800m through mud and sand?? I take it you went on the water with low tide, so in a WZW condition? Behind which bank did you guys sail?
