Late posting because of holiday in France. Had an unfortunate crash and busted my head to the mast with low speed. My nose and forehead were scraped open bij the sail and i had a bigg swell on my forefead. Next time i'll put my  helmed on with 5.4 or smaller. Because of the headache and bleeding  i stoped after sailing only 6 runs. :-(

The last two were the fastest. A shame because  the wind was very good. I'll be back in Franqui this year or next spring.

ps: Marcel, My NM was to short. only 1600 meters.

A very nice sunny summer day. And a beautififul sailable course, a bit square, but had a fantastic day out surfing. Good meeting up with my Dutch buddies..;-)

Tweede dag La Franqui.

Sinds lang weer een keer op een speedboard en duurde even voordat het begon te lopen. Over lopen gesproken, 9 van de 10 surfers liep de upwind rak bijna volledig terug:o belachelijk als je het mij vraagt.

Na een tijdje liepen de snelheden wat op. Paar keer een mijl geprobeerd, maar allemaal net te kort... :( had wel een 70 mijl in kunnen zitten.

Erg druk op het water, zelfs nog wat Nederlanders.

Al met al een lekker dagje varen hier:)

I sailed in straight line.

Lot of trouble cause after 2 runs I broke my 5.4 under the boom from 50cm cut: batten to batten..... So tried to fix and after put the 5.8 with an old mast ...

I could do a bit better ;-)

Today was changing contiuosly from ultra choppy to fair flat and from 100° to 135°....

My 2 best 500 are 44 , happy with it...  5 x 500 43,1

And the best run at 15.27 was in the most choppy moment: Super Funnny!!!

Soon the video... of the rodeo with 47 in straight line on Rolling Chop :-) 

Would need to sail more to catch better chance...

But my body wouldn't be so happy :-)
