After 4 months of no sailing a nice session at la Franqui. At the end of the session I crashed hard on a sandbank. Luckily only a harness line/ rope of my wish .... and hook of my harness broke. The latter I noticed when I was ready to go back on the water again.

totally underpowered, but nice softsailing with speedgear on perfect flatwater!

1sec 40,94 kts

Pbs on almost everything, great day at la franqui,

started a bit slow, and with this being the best day on the forecast (20-30kts) for the week I was doubtful any PBs would happen, but in the afternoon the wind picked up a little to 25 kts with stronger gusts in a perfect angle, sailing upwind was a bit hard at times,

got some nice runs with 37 kts+ after awhile and did a really constant 500m with 37,68kts, which is an improvement of more than 1 knot.

next I wanted to get a solid peakspeed over 40 kts and did some slingshots to get there... peakspeeds were 39,99 39,40 40,12 39,7 and finally 40,94 kts as my technique for slingshotting got more efficient, but I got a spinout at the end of the run but managed to safe it somehow...

after that run the wind decreased again and after 80 km I was tired so I called it a day,

La Franqui delivered some really nice conditions with a good angle and enough wind to get a 5,5 going and I could do some records so I'm pretty happy with that, but I wish to get a perfect day here sometime with 40kts gusts :)
