Yet another fun day on the lake!
Forecast was to get 20-25 with maybe a touch more late in the arvo. Pretty much spot on I recon.
I tried and experiment but rigging the 5.2m to see if it imporved my Alphas on the IS80 slalom board. Verdict: Not today. Happy with a couple of 26's, but I think I just didnt get that really good clean one. I touch more wind and it may be better that way.? Stil, it was worth a try.
I was surprised at how good the speed runs were with the small sail. Very hard to keep from getting backwinded in the lulls, but it felt light and fast in the gusts, very close to the speeds I have done before on the same board but with the 5.7m in the same wind. Interesting.
Afer a couple of hours I went in and swapped to the Mistral 47 speed board and got a 40 peak and about half a knot faster on the good runs. Good fun all day.

IS80 then M47, 2022 KA Race 5.2m, Atomic Nuclear 20cm and then 17cm in the Mistral.
