Today was an opportunity for me to return to "The Ray" for a speed session. It seems that my last visit was way back in August 2016!
The wind was lighter than expected so I did a fair bit of waiting for gusts. The wind filled in a bit towards the end of the session but still light.
Today felt quite warm for December, especially after the snow and ice in recent days! Fading light at 3.30pm brought an early end to the session.
Overall it was a pretty fun day, although not as fast as previous visits.
