The best speedsession ever for me.
Speedsailing in my shorty, consistent wind and sun during the whole day.
Made 50 runs over 40 knots, finally nm over 40 knots, alpha 29 knots, a lot of distance on a speedboard and a new spot record.
I was a little quicker but these are only the numbers of my second session after the break.
Jan Wolters joined us this trip and he also broke his personal best.
Hopefully we have enough energy to do a hour attempt tomorrow in Gruissan.

the team effort was spectacular today. where were Ben and Barry

NICE!!!!! Crazy day with crazy people. Great call Jacques, well worth the 12-hour drive. Great conditions. Even higher speeds were possible, but I couldn't pull it off.
Jacques and Hans, thanks for the great trip! Fastest of the Wad1Team this month ;)

What can i say, happy to have a hour of 51,07, but Hans was sailing behind me the whole hour and i think i was helping him to get a little better result.
Congratulations Hans!

Well done guys! When some pushes the button and the tramontana really fires up that place can be windy as i noticed 2 weeks ago, 60+ knots. Sadly the direction was way to broad (NNW) then. What was the angle now?
Next time i'll join you guys, for sure!
Congratulations!

Hi Jurjen,
If the angle is too broad just go sailing more upwind in direction of Port La Nouvelle.
The beach is slightly curved so you can choose the angle yourself.
NNW would be also very good in Gruissan as NW is 90 degrees and Gruissan is less windy aswell, so missed chance. And 60 knots gust are almost always there with good tramontana's, so you can try to start the run when the wind drops a bit and accelerate in the gusts when you are hooked in and in control. Just go with the flow..
I think NNW would be great angle in La Franqui (close to Port La Nouvelle) as we now always have to bear off into the chop to get the real top speeds
