| Today we were at the spot at 04:00AM and no wind. So the long walk for nothing. Back home, some extra sleep after yesterday's short nap and back at The Brace at 03:00 PM. This time it was pretty windy. As predictions were the wind would die out, everybody went for 6.2's. 5.5. could have been the best size in the gusts, but on the track the wind was a bit less than at the start. I can feel we did not get a lot of wind this year so far. Just one good session mid March and this one is only the 2nd one. It took quite some time before the water state was at its best and it took me some time to get dialled in. Still I managed a good result today. Some more of such days will probably show in the speeds. Fingers crossed.

Normally i would be happy with these results, but i had the feeling that a PB was possible, the small starboard would helped i guess. Nevertheless a fast day. A PB on the 500m!
For the first time in ages speedsurfing in hardcore conditions (sometimes). Had a little trouble in the beginning. Lateron speeds went up, but sadly the wind died slowly. Hope to have a similair day soon.

First time on The Brace, first time real speedsurfing since November so no wonder the speeds are dissapointing but it was fun. Nice spot and the entry into the speedzone is well... exciting. When I started to feel comfortable the wind died. Learned a lot todat.

| 3e en laatste sessie van vandaag. De pijp was leeg na binnen 24 uur en 75km fietsen en 2 sessies van in totaal 110km surfen. Mn armen zaten vol pap. 6,2 was ook best groot, maar er was afnemende wind voorspeld en er was helemaal niet zoveel wind voorspeld, waaide flink zat voor de 6,2. 5,5 was de betere keus geweest. Maar desondanks wel tevreden, volgende keer hopelijk meer geluk met de keuzes en de omstandigheden.

Yes! Finally on top of the 2010 year ranking (sofar).
Low tide at the Brace was late, so we hoped the wind didn't drop to quick, but it did. After 2 runs of 84 i was really aiming to get the dutch gps record (83,32) but the wind was decreasing to quick. First time with this windstrenght on the JP Speed 45 on the Brace, this looks very promising, especially because we are still sailing with 2009 sails and our EvoIII sails will arrive end of this year. I want to thank Boogie from C3 to send me some new XXWB prototype fins, these fins really rock! My goal for 2010 is 85 average.
The guys on da Curve proved its potential (congratulations), so can't wait to go there once with my brand new Seadoo GTX Limited IS 260 with HSA rescue board.

| did the cruel mudwalk 2 times today the first walk was drama the wind didn't come if i new i could have slept a lot longer getting out of bed at 2:00 is not my thing . Nice session today only the wind was a bit mild had one good gust but i had fun and a nice pb @ steve ur really lucky today 0,02 pfffff . Congrats to Jacq who took the day victory i think next time we will try the curve because it would have been a lot faster for us.

| Terleurstellende dagje. De eerste runs waren nog wel gelijk op maar bij toename van de wind was mijn accu snel leeg. Het werken in de hitte de afgelopen weken heeft toch zijn tol geeist .
