What a top session :) had a call from Peter Cutts saying he was going to try the Manor end so decided to give it ago and see if was any better than the bumpy Dip end.So with 15 mph on the gauge went with the isonic and 8.5 and hoped this time I could make it back to where I started !!! On the water at 5 with Peter and Ian already out and the sea is flater this end :) Got bored after a couple of runs in and out so headed off on the 3 mile really broad run to met up with my mates at the Dip :) that really made my back leg sing !!!! Had a chat and then had a mega beat back in clear blue sky and sunshine :) On making it back to The Manor the formula gang David and Nick were out so I did the whole thing over again :) and could'nt believe it was nearly 8 when I got off the water !!! I am really pleased with the Isonic 135 it's a great coastal cruising board and a big thank you to Ben Tilson for letting me have it for such a good price :)

Starboard Isonic 135 , Ezzy Infinity 8.5 , Select Carver 50 fin
looked very light but got going OK. Very choppy for wind strength. Didn't want to gybe in river chop so ended up off Bawdsey a couple of times where wind was stronger and sea a bit smoother. Lovely summer evening and quite a few out, and only one set of gear to pack up.
Nice summer sail - not enough wind at the start - practiced my tacking (not very good!)- then the wind picked up just enough to have some fun .
