First time out with my new Genie GT-31. It was'nt perfect conditions as it was abit to broad

Was looking forward to a big sail speedboard session. But the wind direction was to broad. You could get down the wall, but the fastest runs were from the top east corner to bottom west corner through harbour type chop. Tried to free sail the W53/7m for a while, but it was slow with peaks at 32k/33k so switched to the iS111/7m which proved to be quicker all round. The Sonic 100 would have been perfect today, but left that at home. Might have to get a van or trailer to make sure Iv'e always got the right combo with me??

Not a bad day
Direction was broad, needed more wind, had some good gybe practices.
Had a superb day in the lake / on the tide using my freestyle kit and only put the GPS on for the last half hour when I switched to dad's Super Cross 96. Very broad and could have been using a bigger sail but pleased with a few new PB's and so nearly hit 30.
